I have been working with children for over 10 years, babysitting for multiple families from age 12 until I left for college, including one child from infancy to 4 years old. In high school I led children's day camps and after school programs which led me to study Early Childhood and Special Education for two years in college, learning to nurture the minds of young children. I took many classes on childhood development, and taught lessons in school classrooms (preschool- 5th grade). Upon graduation, I became a ski instructor, where I obtained a Children's Specialist certification. I worked with children aged 1-15 focusing on developing ski skills and making learning fun through play! I also have significant experience working with children with disabilities, as I volunteered with several programs for children with special needs throughout college. During the summer of 2018 I worked as a Therapeutic Recreation Leader, where I Read more worked with participants ages 5 to 21 with a variety of disabilities.
