I run a small day care from my home and have 20 years experience in working with children. I hold a Bachelor's degree in early childhood development. I have my clearances up to date as well as drivers license in good standing. I prefer to call myself a day care provider/teacher, and not a babysitter, this is because I gear the children's' curriculum & activities to suit their abilities and their needs. I take the children's interests and abilities into consideration to build upon that foundation to enhance the quality of their education. I offer meals & snacks at no extra charge to the parents, I do arts/crafts, take day trips to the park (whether permitting), as well as nature walks, music time, and an educational program so children can learn and be prepared for the next step in their future. I have a preschool learning environment where I incorporate Read more learning activities as well as hands on activities. My hours of operation are Monday- Saturday, Monday- Friday are as follows: 6:00 am-6:30 pm, Saturday 7:00 am- 5:00 pm. I take subsidized day care assistance as well.
