Hello! My name is Alexis and I recently graduated from West Chester University with my Bachelor's in Social Work. I am 22 years old and have been a nanny for the past 3 years to two wonderful children! I adore them and will miss them dearly due to the families recent out of state move. I began my child care experience at a women's medical center where I provided child care for mother's who were attending parenting or discipline classes at the center. I continued to volunteer in my church nursery and at the pregnancy center all throughout my middle and high school education. I babysat for many of my neighbors on weekends or whenever they needed a last minute sitter. In the summer of 2012, I began nannying full time for a local family. I spent the Spring semester of my junior year of college completing an internship at Read more Head Start, a preschool for low income children. I enjoyed every minute of it and it gave me a wealth of knowledge about early education and child development that I would have never learned else where. I completed my senior year internship at Chester County Children, Youth and Families, where I am currently employed as a caseworker.
