Hello! I’m Jess, an Artist, Gardener, and aspiring Art Therapist. I grew up in California, where I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Human Development from UC Davis. There, I specialized in child development, education, and psychology, while also playing for their Division 1 Women’s Water Polo team and coaching kids in swimming and water polo. When I graduated, I moved to the east coast and have worked as a nanny, special education teacher and mental health worker. For the past 10 years, I’ve worked with children of all ages, in all settings, and have decided to merge my passion for counseling and art with a Master’s Degree in Art Therapy. While going to school, I would love to continue working with kids. I am excited to find opportunities through Sittercity and I look forward to meeting you and your family!
