My love for children started at a young age. During elementary school, I always said that I wanted to be a teacher. That is still true today, and I will be entering my junior year of college at Shippensburg University majoring In elementary education. Even though I started babysitting around the age of 14, my true love of kids started when I had an internship during my senior year of high school In a second grade classroom. After leaving the class my first day there, I knew that watching kids grow and learn and see their experiences is what I would want to do for the rest of my life. Not only have I been in a second grade classroom, but I was also placed in a first grade classroom as part of my program at Shippensburg. During the summer months, I work at a local playground program. I have Read more also been a nanny to a 6 month old girl.
