My name is Elizabeth Read. I am originally from Utah, but my husband and I moved to Philadelphia for his Physician's Assistant school. I just graduated with my Bachelor's Degree in Family Studies with a minor in Spanish and French. I will be attending the National Personal Training Institute in Philadelphia starting this July. The classes go from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm, so I am looking for an after-school babysitting position. I am the oldest of six kids, with a 13-year gap between me and my youngest sibling. Growing up, I had a lot of responsibility to care for my 5 younger siblings, almost every day. When I got my driver's license at age 16, I would be left with my siblings for days to weeks at a time, while my parents were traveling for work or leisure. I have been working as a babysitter for a family for the past year (September-August) who have a 5-year-old girl and a 9-year-old boy. I am looking for a new job because my husband and I are moving to the Elkins Park area. I feel very comfortable around children and I am confident that over the years I have gained the necessary experience to care for your child.
