I love kids. I am the preferred babysitter among my friends. I enjoy crafting as well as baking with children. Play and imagination time are particularly fun to me. I try to bring a sense of fun and adventure to most tasks. I am not a pushover but set clear, respectful boundaries for children so they understand that they are cared for above all else. My training isn't formal but l ran summer camps for my church in Alabama during my teens, co- directed a summer camp for a Philadelphia nonprofit in 2005, provided childcare for the yearly leadership retreat for my local church for many years between 2007 and 2017, and have been called on by friends numerous times to keep their kids. Most of all, the kids usually request me too! I am comfortable with newborns, toddlers, and elementary school children.
