I worked in a day care center and have received childhood first aid and cpr training as well as a Pennsylvania background check for working with children. At the day care I worked primarily with children 2 months-2 years of age, but also spent time in classrooms for children up to age 6. Before working in the day care I taught English abroad for two years for kids age 9-17 and working as a camp counselor for kids age 6-17. I have a degree in psychology and took several classes on developmental psychology. In high school I took two childcare classes, one on infants and one for preschool age children. These classes taught me to make every experience a fun, learning experience. For two summers during college I have nannied for three children (twins age 9 and one age 13) we spent a lot of time at the library and Read more most of our days outside. I also have done wedding babysitting for a 2 month old. Before school care for a 3 and 6 year old and paid care for toddlers and elementary school age children. I speak basic Russian and know some baby sign language. When caring for children I love to take them to the park and be active. Even on rainy days I like to make sure they have a fun time.
