Started volunteering in 2011 for toddler’s classroom and the class grew in size up to 12 small children of 2yrs old. It was very busy! I was the Head Teacher in that particular classroom with only one teenager as a Helper. Last summer in 2013, I decided to switch classrooms and teach the kindergarten and preschoolers where I am currently serving. Curriculum is provided by the educational ministry among church and teachers prepared classes prior to attend the Sunday school. On the personal note, I am a mother of one child who is a young adult and recently married. On the other hand, I am a step-grandmother of six. I am delighted when they visit our home where we enjoy eating and playing together. I am very energetic and fit physically and emotionally for the challenge of dealing with children. CHOP- Children Hospital – August 12, 2010 – Dec 10, 2013 Caregiver Volunteer to be a caregiver for a 16yrs old girl who did not have a mother by her side due to court orders on family disputes. I provided care during her cancer treatment and travel to Philadelphia to sleepover at CHOP hospital twice per week for 3.5yrs until she died in 12/10/13 at 19. I was alone with her replacing her father, so he could go home to rest. We grew closer and she called me “her artistic mommy”.
