I started working at age twenty one as a counselor at Holland YMCA day camp in their special needs program. This is when I realized what I wanted to do with my career, and that was to help children with special needs. I have always enjoyed working with children; however the feeling of being needed was overwhelming and I had found my niche. I became a member of the Bucks county intermediate unit in January of 2010 and have enjoyed every day since working with autistic support children. I graduated from Temple university with a bachelors degree in Adult Organizational communication in May 2012 and graduated from my masters program in special education at Arcadia University in May 2014. I am acquiring new information everyday and always look forward to a new experience. In June 2014, I began my career as a Special Education Teacher with the Bucks County Intermediate Read more Unit #22. I cant see myself doing anything more rewarding than be able to work with and teach children! I currently work in an ABA classroom with students that have autism and intellectual disabilities.
