My name is Kim Juhnke and I am currently in graduate school for Speech-Language Pathology at IUP. I first obtained a degree from the University of Dayton in History in 2012. After graduating I moved to Altoona because I accepted a job with the U.S. Department of the Interior as a Park Ranger. At this position I have given children's programs regarding animal habitats, migration patterns, and recycling, as well as historical interpretations about the Johnstown Flood and Allegheny Portage Railroad. I continue to work at this position part-time and also work part-time as a Therapeutic Staff Support worker. This position includes working with a Behavioral Specialist and implementing the behavior plan they have developed with the family and school district. I have worked with 6 different clients throughout several school districts with an arrange of special needs. I am currently in graduate school full time and work as a speech therapist with children with articulation and language disorders. I work in the IUP clinic and have 5 different clients. I also have 4 adorable nieces that I love seeing when I travel to my hometown of Toledo, Ohio. There are two twins that are 5, one four-year-old and a one year old! I love playing games with the older ones and doing arts and crafts. With the youngest one we read books and dance together! I would be available Monday and Tuesday until 3:45, Wednesday until 2:15, all day Thursday, and not available on Fridays. I have had several background checks for graduate school and my position with the government and TSS position that are available for viewing.
