Hi! my name is Maureen. Babysitting is how most women start earning money, however for me, it has turned into so much more. With several years of babysitting experience, a summer camp counselor position, and currently a Team Leader of the Jumpstart program (a program that works in inner city preschools), so much of my life thus far has been dedicated to serving children. I also study speech therapy at Temple University, with hopes to one day work in a school or pediatric setting. With my studies, I understand language goals for children, how to achieve them, and how to make it fun for children. With my Jumpstart background, I know of many educational activities that just seem like playing for kids. I also have a high appreciation for nutrition and being active, and believe both are crucial for child development.
