I'm a psychology and special education college student looking for a nannying position. Over the last few years, I have had many varied experiences working with kids. I started off babysitting for my many younger cousins who were ages 2-13. In high school, I worked at a children's store/ birthday party venue where I led birthday parties and day camps, and even sometimes dressed up like a Disney princess. Recently, I have interned with an education coordinator where I led field trips and activities for students age 5-10. Most recently, I worked in a preschool setting helping in the classroom as well implementing a fun exercise program aimed to help get kids moving and improve their attention skills. All these experiences have really helped me gain an understanding of what keeps kids engaged and having fun.
