I have worked with children as a babysitter, mother's helper, nanny, coach and counselor for 7+ years. My experience ranges from changing a baby's diaper, to reading children bedtime stories, to making healthy dinners for children and their families I started as a mother's helper in middle school, advancing to babysitter before the start of my high school career. Throughout high school and college, I would babysit the children of my family, friends and teachers. I also worked as a counselor/coach through my local Township at weekly swim clinics (UMAC), summer day camps (Adventure Day Camp), and basketball sports camps (Hoops). The local elementary school in my college town was in need of garden helpers and tutors, so I also have experience with handling young children outside and assisting them with reading/writing/math assignments. I'm happy to step in as a tutor whenever necessary. Most recently, I worked in a corporate Read more setting and would babysit the children of my company's executives on the weekends when they traveled to New York for business. I decided to leave the company and take time as a babysitter/nanny until exploring other corporate opportunities in the future. I became a babysitter knowing that I am a "kid" at heart and can easily connect to children. I love working with kids of all ages, and combining responsibility with fun and patience.
