Hey! My name is Claudia and I'm 19 and currently living in Lyons, pa. I'm an elementary education major at Kutztown, but I'm taking a break from schooling to focus on my art so you can definitely expect some impressive arts and crafts! This also leaves my schedule very open and flexible. I know everybody says this, but I'm honestly very good with kids. I have worked at multiple summer camps but for the past 4 summers I was a counselor at a children's weight loss camp. Working there has taught me a lot about nutrition, healthy cooking, and how to keep kids entertained without needing electronics. I strongly believe that children need to spend time outdoors so I'm always enthusiastic about nature and sports. I played soccer, basketball, field hockey, and softball in school so I'm always ready for some friendly games at the park. I know that not Read more all kids like homework, but I always approach it as another fun activity to accomplish because children learn best when they are excited about the learning material. I also love to cook and clean so don't hesitate to ask me for some help around the house. I have a 2003 Jeep Liberty that is in great condition (only 60,000 miles!) so if you want me to drive your kids anywhere, I have a very reliable and safe car. Even though I'm not a parent, I understand how big of a commitment it is to trust your children with someone else which is why I try to be as open and genuine as possible. And I also understand that children, especially young ones, get attached very easily so I make sure that I am dependable and consistent because I truly care about the children I take care of.
