I waitressed for 2 years and as much as I love customer service, I would LOVE to spend more time with kids. I would babysit my younger cousins and friends children through high school and even from time to time now. I have a niece in PA whom I use to watch often, as well. I'm single, 20 years old, work full time, live alone and do not want children or pets but still have a HUGE soft spot to spend time with kids that can return to their parents. :) I'm very reliable, top 10% of all associates within my company (as well as the youngest employed), outgoing and always looking to stay productive. I would also say Read more I'm a very trust worthy person. I was accepted and certified to become a mentor for Seton Youth Shelters but with that comes a 1 year commitment. I cannot guarantee a 1 year commitment due to a long distance relationship within my "home-town" in PA. My mother was diagnosed cancer and with my better half in PA, I'm shooting to start my search for jobs and apartments to relocate back to PA sometime after March. I moved to Virginia from my small "farm-town" in Sept. 2013 for opportunity and to start my search for a career since I decided not to attend college. Since then, I've been very successful and blessed to have obtained the job I have now and my experience has been exceptionally helpful to kick start my career and allow more opportunities in my life. As excited as I was when I was accepted to become a mentor, I unfortunately cannot commit to a 1 year relationship due to the series of events in PA. I was looking forward to spending so much time with a young mentee and while searching for a replacement job to occupy my evenings, I saw the ad for sitters needed. I would love to spend time with children and think with my professional manner, polished appearance and reliable background, that I would be perfect for a part time babysitter position. I work Mon-Fri, 10AM-6:30PM and I'm typically available AT LEAST one weekend a month. (I drive to PA to care for my mom usually one weekend a month) I can be reached via email, text or phone call.
