I worked as a caregiver for a special needs boy with a significant autism related mental disability. I also worked as a summer day camp counselor within the inner city, primarily watching a bunch of 9-11 year-olds, most of whom did not have special needs. One student did have non-autism related intellectual deficiency. I DO NOT HAVE any significant certification for caring of such individuals with special needs. I have my Act 33/34 background checks for this year, and have just graduated with a degree in Human Services/Social Work.
