I am a 34 year old living in the Ft. Washington area. I have many years of experience as a babysitter/nanny as well as experience as a tutor, a college degree, and have travelled to 50 countries (which also means I've gotten good at adapting to new situations and improvisation).  I am mature and responsible, most importantly.  I understand that each family, and each child is unique and always try to respect the values, rules and child care philosophies of each parent and family.  That being said, my general philosophy is that while it is obviously important to create a safe and happy environment for the children, it is equally important to do what I can to minimize stress in the parents' lives. That can include cooking, working on laundry when the kids are asleep or running an extra errand for them. I also try and keep kids active - whether Read more physically or mentally, as much as possible, as there is so much in life to learn and experience, and I want them to know the joy of embracing life.
