Hi, my name is Skyla Wandell. I graduated Pennsylvania State University with a degree in Human Development Family Studies, focusing most of my studies on the development of children. Striving to give children the best care for a healthy development, I’ve found my mission to rest in childcare. Having the opportunity to intern and work closely with the Bennett Family Center for two years helped me find my niche in child care. It also equipped me with the skills and qualities to be a positive and trusting role model/teacher for children. In 2014, I transitioned to this beautiful center Hort Woods and found that I could grow even more working in the infant and toddler classroom! Having the experience in childcare helped me gain a different perspective on the best’ ways children learn. With that being said, I would like to invite children to be cared for in my home. At your convenience, I can provide you with completed Professional Development trainings, up-to-date background checks and FBI clearances. I also am up-to-date on First Aid & CPR training.
