During my four years of high school, I was able to take a lab that put me into a preschool everyday. I was put into a class that had about 15 students ranging from 3 to 6. I created lesson plans for the preschoolers, adapting the lesson to each child to ensure the younger ones wouldn't be left behind but the older ones would be challenged. I also created schedules for the preschoolers to follow daily, which included lunch, nap, circle time, reading, free play ect. I worked directly with children who needed extra help while studying their developmental growth on individual level. Preschool class taught me how to balance play, learning, and scheduling for a successful day. At home, my aunt had 9 kids, all of which I spent a fair amount of time watching and taking care of. The days I spent taking care of my cousins and Read more teaching them were some of the best days of my teenage years and I'm looking to continue that!
