I grew up in New Jersey a mile from the beach with two wonderful parents and a younger brother. I had an exceptional childhood and despite some growing pains here and there, I want to influence other children's lives like some of my babysitters so they have good experiences as well. Both my parents worked a lot when I was younger so because I am six years older than my brother, I became responsible for him at a young age. I think this is why I was so eager to get into childcare. I am an outgoing person who simply enjoys life. I have a good sense of humor that helps get me through hard times. I have my degree in clinical psychology and I have been a practicing therapist for 3 years to date. I have recently started a private practice and am looking to leave my position to Read more start building my business. Because I cannot stay committed to a full time therapy position but I cannot risk leaving my job for a growing business, I have decided to persue a babysitting/nannying position. I am looking for either very steady long term part-time work or short-term (couple months, a summer) full time work.
