My name is Megan Shambaugh and I'm originally from Carlisle, PA, however, I am now studying neuroscience and psychology at Temple University. I have very open flexibility at the moment as I am entering my senior year of college and am not taking many classes. My experience working with kids started while I was in high school as I became a volunteer through the Big Brother/Big Sister program. I have spent the last few summers working as a substitute teacher at Dickinson College Children's Center in my hometown, and have spent one summer working at a daycare in Havertown, PA. I have primarily worked with infant-toddler aged children, but do have experience working with school-aged children as well. In Philly, I have been a volunteer at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia for the past two years, and have worked as a research assistant in a developmental science lab where we Read more are currently working with 6 month olds! I can provide FBI fingerprint clearance, child abuse clearance, and criminal background check. I am CPR and first aid certified. When working with kids, I enjoy outdoor activities, crafts, center play and games! I am very energetic and love the energy I get from being around kids, because naturally I am a kid at heart. I'm also very pet friendly- my family has four cats!
