Hello! My name is Veronica A. Matthews. I am 21 years old and am currently attending nursing school at Thomas Jefferson University. I am one of eleven children and just welcomed my one of my 12 nephews and neices to the world one week ago today ( of whom I was asked to be the godmother!). I have been an aunt since I was five years old which is pretty much when I began my babysitting career. I have experience with children from infant to 8 years of age as well as pre-teen and teenagers. I was a night-time nanny for the summer of 2012 where I was doing nightly feedings for a newborn infant. I also was a daytime nanny in fall of 2012 where I took care of two adopted russian boys( ages 2 and 5) basically playing with them, feeding them breakfast and lunch, changing diapers and Read more helping them learn social skills. I love children and believe that having patience, understanding and an optimistic enthusiastic attitude is key when dealing with children because,as a babysitter, we are teachers and role models.
