During my time as an undergraduate, one of the things I majored in at SUNY Brockport was Arts for Children which taught me valuable child care skills, which I have used in order to pay my bills as I work towards my graduate degree in art history. I have worked in two daycares in my home town of Rochester, NY. I began in Generation Daycare, where I was a lead Toddler Room teacher. I planned lessons, and instilled discipline, and organized our classroom. Afterwards, I moved to another daycare, Close 2 Home. At this facility I was primarily used in the infant room. I have experience taking care of children from 6 weeks up to 18 months. I loved watching how fast the children grew. It seemed that they learned something new everyday. In 2011 I moved to NYC to pursue grad school at City College. I have been a Read more nanny to older children, age 7-9, until I was a live in nanny for two boys currently aged 2 and 4, though I have been with the family since the eldest child was 6 months old. I enjoy art, museums, reading, and going on hikes.
