I have a lifetime of caring for children. I started babysitting at the age of 11 and continued even through my pregnancy and until my son started preschool. I have been a teacher' s assistant in a preschool program and during my time as a cook for a preschool program, I doubled as a classroom assistant. I am now raising a daughter so I am up to date on all the changes in childcare that have occurred since I was a first time mom. I am keenly interested in healthy foods for my family and well read on nutrition. I hold a food safety certificate and I am looking to upgrade my CPR certificate. Needless to say, I enjoy being around children, helping them, and learning from them!
