Throughout high school, I was in Big Brothers Big Sisters. For three years, I was partnered with my little child. Over the course of our time together, her grades went from B and C's to A's. She became more outgoing and less temperamental with her peers and teachers. My summer before college, I babysat my cousin for the summer. She was in preteen age. I made sure to get her motivated. To get out of the house and exercise rather than watching television and playing on the computer every day. In college, I was a tutor at an inner city Philadelphia elementary school. This was the most challenging experience with children for me. They were very mature for their age. They often fought and used crude language. I learned to settle them down and get them to focus on their schoolwork, rather than playing cruel jokes on each other. For Read more the past few months, I have worked with a company. I dress up like a princess and attend birthday parties for children. We play games, take pictures, etc.
