I am a mother and a student at Temple University. I have three years of professional work in early education. I have an Associates Degree in Mid Level Education, and I am working toward a Bachelors degree in secondary education. I spent one year actively advocating for the importance of early childhood education as an AmeriCorps member at Jumpstart Philadelphia in 2017. While not in school, I enjoy exploring new things. In the summer I regularly go hiking, swimming, and canoeing with the hubby and our 3 year old son. In the winter we do a lot of indoor activities like visiting the Insectarium, the Please Touch Museum, and indoor parks.
