My name is Elena, though most people call me Lena. A little about me: I am 65 years old and have lived and worked in the United States for the past 30 years. Graduated from college in Ukraine with a major in economics. When I first came to the U.S., I worked as a babysitter before transitioning into housekeeping. As a single mother, this work allowed me to support my family and raise my daughter, who is now 39 years old and happily married. Although I have reached retirement age, I enjoy staying active and productive. Sitting at home simply isn't for me. These days, I still work mornings for a few wonderful longtime clients who have become like family, but I am looking for lighter afternoon work. I am legally authorized to work in the U.S. and have my own reliable transportation. In my free time, I enjoy taking Read more road trips, watching good movies, visiting art museums and exhibitions, and spending time by the coast. I am also an amateur oil painter and especially enjoy creating portraits of pets for friends and acquaintances. Cooking is another passion of mine, and I am an experienced home cook specializing in European cuisine. I am also a devoted dog lover. For 15 wonderful years, I shared my life with a little Toy Poodle named Zhu-Zhu, who passed away a few years ago. I still miss him very much. I am currently looking for afternoon babysitting and housekeeping opportunities. I would be happy to help with school pickup, supervising homework, laundry, preparing snacks and dinner, and keeping a home organized and running smoothly. I am also interested in working as a companion for an active senior. I enjoy good conversation and would be glad to assist with household tasks, errands, meal preparation, and other daily activities while providing dependable, friendly companionship.
