Jenny met us at our home to discuss watching our girls on occasion. This was following several prompt and courteous messages from her. After our discussion, during which she most definitely agreed to watch our girls part-time, I asked her to text me for our future communications. I then texted her back the next day to firm up our plans for the following weekend. No response for the entire week. I texted her again on the day we thought she would babysit, and I even asked her if she had changed her mind about sitting for us. I held out hope for Jenny cause she seemed great, and you never know if someone is busy or sick or whatever. But I heard nothing. I will admit that our dog was kind of scary with her, so I understand that Jenny may not have felt comfortable here. But we could have been actively been pursuing another sitter, and possibly had someone lined up for that date night we were so looking forward to if she had just said she changed her mind.
