I’m a caring, energetic, and dependable childcare provider who truly loves spending time with children and being a positive, supportive presence in their lives. I believe children thrive when they feel safe, understood, encouraged, and—of course—have plenty of opportunities to have fun! I have been babysitting children since high school and have also gained experience teaching swim lessons, where I had the opportunity to build relationships with children while helping them learn and grow. For the past three years, I have worked at an overnight camp serving individuals with a wide range of special needs. In this role, I have provided hands-on care with everything from toileting, dressing, and daily life skills to creating fun, engaging experiences and supporting campers’ independence. I have also worked closely with middle schoolers and teenagers, including providing care for neurotypical children who attended camp. My experience has taught me the importance of patience, flexibility, Read more compassion, and meeting each child where they are. I take pride in creating a secure, stable, and engaging environment where children can feel comfortable being themselves while also being encouraged to learn, grow, and try new things. A child’s well-being, comfort, and temperament are always my top priorities. I also have extensive specialized training from my work at camp, along with current Lifeguard, CPR, and First Aid certifications. I’m comfortable handling a variety of situations and understand the responsibility that comes with caring for children. Above all, I want the children I care for to feel safe, valued, supported, and excited to spend time with me.
