Hello, Below is some information about me and what I can offer to you and your child. My rate may be cheaper if you are willing to bring your child to my home. If you would prefer me to come to your home then I will have to bring my 8-month-old daughter with me. Please do not hesitate to call or email me with questions. Professional Experience: I worked for 7+ years in social services for a foundation's early intervention program, where I provided support and services to infants/toddlers and young children with disabilities and their caregivers. In my role, I worked directly and collaboratively with special educators and occupational, physical, and speech therapists, while they interacted with children on a daily basis. I managed a case load of 40+ families. I worked directly with them to meet their child's needs. Personal Life Read more & Additional Child care experience: I am married and am currently a stay-at-home mom with my 8-month-old daughter. I have babysat my 3-year-old niece and my friend's 2-year-old & 6-year-old boys. My mother also had an in-home daycare, when I was in grade school and high school. I would help her after school and on weekends. I am very comfortable with children and all aspects of child care. I am certified in CPR. I've taken fire & safety training as well. My Home: I live in nice, clean, and safe neighborhood on a street with little traffic and lots of kids. My home is two-stories and I have a large dedicated playroom in our basement that I have just re-done. It even has a large chalkboard wall! I also have a large, well-maintained fenced in backyard (6 ft. high privacy fence). My home is child proofed, clean, and smoke free. We do have two dogs (6-year-old male Yorkie & 3-year-old female German Shepherd / both neutered and all shots and vaccines up-to-date) and a cat (declawed) that are 100% kid friendly. To ensure I am able to provide the right level of care, I will not watch more than 2 children at the same time.
