Hello, my name is Cherise and I am 25 years old. I have 6 years of babysitting/ nanny experience and a B.S. degree in Physical Education & Sport. I am also CPR/AED/ First Aid, Lifeguard, and Advanced Child Care certified. I am currently a graduate student at Barry University seeking occasional babysitting jobs (at a minimum of 4 hours). Currently, I hold a part-time position as a Camp Counselor with Miami Fitness Connection. The duties consist of organizing arts and crafts and other indoor activities, and outdoor play whether it be beach play or sports games. Most recently, I was a full-time Nanny this past summer for a family in Philadelphia, PA with kids ages 3 and 5. My duties consisted of light housekeeping, lunch cooking/ meal prepping, outdoor physical activities at the local park, arts and crafts, and trips to the museum, pool, library and zoo. I designed and demonstrated basketball drills all while motivating them to always prove strong work ethic, sportsmanship, and confidence. I feel like my strength is my organization skills, in terms of planning the day and housekeeping. When caring for kids, my goal is to not only watch them, but guide them to grow into their own person mentally, physically, and socially. Of course, in respect to the parents’ values.
