I currently work as a family therapist during after school and evening hours. I have been in the mental health field for 15 years working with both adults and children with a mental health diagnosis. I began babysitting at the age of 13 for neighbors and family friends. Once I became too old for camp I was able to attend as a counselor in training which allowed me to assist the head counselors with monitoring campers and running activities. I have managed the after school care through the Y at a local elementary school. I was responsible for maintaining safety, homework help and directing activities. I have cared for children through a specialized respite program. As a respite provider I was responsible for caring for children with various special needs. I also have two children of my own. I have current clearances that I will provide on request.
