I am a mother of a 20 yr old and 15 yr old. I was a stay at home mom who opened my home to babysit primarily for teachers. I babysat approximately 30 children over a 9 year time frame. I chose to become a Special Education Paraprofessional when my youngest reached 4th grade. I trained through the Berks County Intermediate Unit and do 20 hours of continual education a year. I have all my clearances and am certified in CPR, First aid and Defibulator My position is a 10 month position. I currently am finishing up my 3rd year with the same child. I am looking to fill in my summer on a part-time basis now that my youngest is self reliant. As you can see I love children and have been blessed to have many wonderful families in our lives.
