Hello! My name is Anabel Duverge, I am 25 years old and i have a beautiful 8 month old little girl. I am a Kutztown University graduate as of December 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Growing up I always babysat for family members and loved it! I have always loved teaching kids, creating fun actitivies and ensuring that everyone is safe. When I was 18 ( June 2015) I was hired to care for 4 children’s ages (1,3,5, and 7) M-F 8am-4pm. I did everything from make nutritious breakfasts and lunches and gave them snacks in between. I planned arts & crafts to do as well as some physical activities. We went on walks, I took them to the pool, the park and on fun adventures! That was was originally supposed to only be for the summer but I ended up staying 6 months because I loved Read more the kids so much! Fast forward almost 4 years later, that family considers me apart of their family, I even go on vacation with them! I also still babysit for them on occasion! From November 2015- January 2016 I also babysat a 2 & 3 year old part time and did many of the same activities. Aside from babysitting, I have also worked at a co-ed sleep-away summer camp for 8 weeks during the summer of 2017. I spent my whole day with 11 year olds supervising their activities, encouraging learning, and had the best summer! One of my head counselors said that I was one of their best employees throughout the summer! From January 2018- August 2018 I was working at a day care center in Kutztown M-F with kids ranging in age from infants to 4-5 year old. My main role was being the assistant toddler teacher. I was also an Au Pair (live in nanny) for a French family living in Sydney, Australia! I spent 6 weeks with them and I cared for their 10 month old baby boy, 2 year old girl, and a 5 year old boy. I did everything from take them to the beach, prepare their meals and snacks, prepared daily activities (focusing on fine and gross motor skills for the little ones) while creating age appropriate activities for their 5 year old brother.
