Paula is terrific. I'm shocked anyone could give her one star. Obviously they never met her and it sounds like a simple miscommunication. She is very personable and terrific with kids. We insisted on meeting her before hiring her and she was very willing to do so and insisted on it so she had a comfort level too. My wife loved her so we hired her right away. She did an amazing job with our two girls and we would highly recommend her to anyone else who cares about their kids and doesn't want to stress about their sitter while out having a good time. She is completely responsible and very mature. My girls loved her after just one night and now they're excited whenever she's coming back.

Paula was absolutely amazing. We were initially hesitant about acquiring a babysitter because our kids are only 2 and 3 three years old. We felt that maybe they should be able to fully explain any situation before we left them with a sitter. So we were initially nervous about hiring someone. However, after contacting her references and thoroughly reviewing a background check, we made the plunge with Paula. She has been absolutely wonderful with our kids. She has now babysat for us on two separate occasions. She is very professional. We asked her to be to the house at 6:00 and at both times she arrived right on time (maybe a minute or two earlier...which is great). She prepared the kids their dinner that included some mac and cheese along with some chicken strips we left for her. She read the kids some books, played some games, and watched some Sesame Street and Super Y with them. Now my kids love her. They literally come down stairs screaming her name when she arrives. And ironically, their disappointment of seeing her leave at the end of the night is greater than their happiness of seeing us return from date night. I highly recommend Paula!! I just hope that you don’t need her when we do. :) Best, Daniel and Leah

Our experience--After phone and email conversations confirming the job, Paula simply did not show. I was a little worried during the phone interview because in the conversation she said that she shared a car and needed enough notice to reserve the car. Her sitter-city information claimed she had her own transportation. But that seemed like a small inconsistency. Her rate was higher than what was in her information but still within reason. I thought she would show and do a fine job for four hours. She accepted the job two days prior and never cancelled, just did not show. After two phone calls and an email she finally answered with a poor and contradictory excuse. Hope your experience goes better than mine.
