Hello, my name is Meara Welker I am 18 years old and graduated from Williamsport High School. While attending there I took a three year course studying child development and education. I have known since I was in elementary school that I wanted to spend my life working with kids, everything about it is amazing! Each day brings a new experience and something new to learn for the kids and the adults around them. I love working with kids.I currently work full-time as an assisstant preschool teacher at a local daycare. I am CPR and first aid certified. I am also currently enrolled in college online to earn my associate's in Early Childhood Education. I babysat for my aunt when my cousins were 1 1/2 and 3 years of age up until they were four and six. When I was attending high school the program I was enrolled in had Read more a preschool that came three days a week, us students had to pick and prepare age appropriate activities. Once the preschoolers arrived we would do circle time and then break into groups and teach our activities. I love working with children of all ages but my main experience lies between the ages 2- 8 years.
