I'm a Licensed Social Worker, and have been living in the area for the last few years. For the last several years, my full-time position was working as a therapist in a therapeutic early childhood setting for children with autism where I cared for pre-schoolers and supported their intellectual, developmental, emotional, behavioral, and social growth. I also work in a part-time program with school-aged children who struggle with social communication/engagement where I introduce developmentally-appropriate social emotional skills and concepts to students and facilitate lessons, games, and activities for kids to practice their skills. I recently transitioned to a new position at an emotional support K-7 school, which means that this is the first time in years that I've had summers off at my full-time job! Ali babysat for me today. I have a 5-month-old and an almost 3-year-old. This is the first time I have felt comfortable leaving my kids with a babysitter since my baby was born (after some encouragement from my husband). Ali was incredible with both kids. She soothed the baby expertly when she was fussy and was just amazing with my toddler. He was talking about Ali until bedtime. I really appreciate how she made this experience so positive for me. I highly recommend her.
