Meghan’s Bio

The top qualities to achieve as a teacher is someone who is engaging, has great knowledge her material and someone who knows how to manage the classroom. As a 2007 graduate from Loyola in Maryland, I have acquired teaching experience in grade levels preschool through high school, children LD and BD/ED for both suburban and urban school districts. My current position is co-teaching prekindergarten in the 4 year old classroom. From my teaching experience, it has been a challenge to be creative, organized, nurturing and especially, patient. As a teacher, it is important to bring a learning environment that would attain my student’s attention, build their confidence and help prepare them for their future.

Recently, I moved back to Pennsylvania to begin a masters/teacher certification program in education at Cabrini College. My goal is to continue building on my experience working with children while attending evening graduate classes. From my knowledge learned and ability to be an enthusiastic and creative teacher, this will guide my positive contribution to students in my future classroom.
