I have been a babysitter, nanny, and tutor ever since I was 12. I am the eldest of 4 siblings, so I grew up taking care of my younger siblings and cousins. I organized puppet shows and backyard games, planned birthday parties, and craft groups. As an adult, I was a live-in nanny for 3 children (ages 1, 3, and 7), one of which had a medical condition. I was also a babysitter for an infant with a serious medical condition. Most recently I have tutored elementary school children, ages 6 - 13 in reading, math, and writing. I am not the type to just sit on the couch and watch tv......nor do I plop children in front the tv or computer. I play games, do crafts, build couch forts, or other age-appropriate, fun activities.
