I am a rising senior at Columbia University in the city of New York. I am a Psychology major with an additional concentration in Anthropology. I have a two year old sister whom I babysit on a regular basis. Not only has she brought an immense amount of joy into my life, but she has also helped me to better understand the best ways in which to interact with younger children. In addition to my little sister, I come from a very large extended family. I am one of over thirty cousins and have had experience interacting with and caring for children of all ages. I also have interest in Child Psychology and will be participating in the Field Work and Research Seminar at the Barnard Toddler Center this upcoming academic year. My responsibilities there will be to serve as one of the primary teachers once a week at the Read more Center. Simultaneously, I will be taking a seminar course to learn more about toddler and child development. I am currently living at home in Cranston for the summer and have very flexible hours.
