Hello, my name is Emely Cabrera Soto- I am recent a college graduate who majored in Sociology and Anthropology with a Psychology minor. Before college and throughout college I work as a babysitter and as a counselor for numerous years. However, it wasn't until I began studying Sociology that I became passionate to serve my community, while also developing an interest in child education. And so, to follow this passion and personal interest I will be serving as a AmeriCorps-FoodCorps Member in Massachusetts to gain experience in the public education system before I begin graduate school in teaching.
