Hi! My names Emily. I'm 26, a college graduate, and with aspirations of joining the Navy. Currently I am a morning shift supervisor with Starbucks typically working from 5am-1:30pm, which makes after school and date nights jobs perfect for me! In college I was a resident advisor, living and working alongside 260 + freshman, 40 of which were under my direct care. You might think that being an RA doesn't really qualify as past babysitting experience but just imagine a bunch of legal adults, away from home for the first time, with access to (illegal) alcohol and a ton of other like minded individuals. Being an RA was like being an adult babysitter with the perk of free room & board. I was also in charge of facilitating interactive and engaging programs which is glorified arts & crafts, so I can definitely find fun and interesting activities to use with Read more your children. I also have experience babysitting for local families with children ranging in ages from 5-12. I'm not opposed to toddlers or infants and welcome the experience that that could give me! I also have a life time of experience with children with special needs. I have a younger brother with autism, who is often nonverbal and relies very heavily on the direction of others for daily tasks. I am looking for fun and eye opening experiences with babysitting. I would love to get to know your children, hang out and plan fun things to do with them according to their interests. I don't mind helping with homework, or going to parks, or finding things to do when we're stuck inside for winter!
