Hi! My name is Marina Salzarulo and I am currently a Junior at URI majoring in Global and Environmental Health Studies. I am currently employed at a family owned retail business in North Kingstown and have been there for almost 3 years. I currently only work there Saturdays. Along with working retail I have been a summer camp counselor at Casey Farm for 6 summers. The camp focuses on farm animal care, basic agricultural skills, and incorporates some local history along the way. We take hikes to the river, bay and explore the forests around the farm. As a camp counselor I am usually in charge of 11-13 children at a time. The ages involved in the camp range from 3-12 and the activities vary accordingly. I enjoy working with children because it gives me a sense of happiness and I love channeling my inner child as well. I enjoy Read more hands on activities and love being outside. I am also certified in CPR/AED and have 2 different babysitting certifications. I speak fluent Spanish, and adore all animals. I especially love working with kids ages 3-7 because their imaginations are running wild!
