I am a recently retired grandmother of four. Before going into the corporate world, I owned an In-Home Daycare, where I provided a loving, caring, safe environment for up to 5 children, ages 6 weeks to 7 years old. I coordinated meals, age appropriate indoor and outdoor activities, and maintained thorough communication with parents. I also worked as a lead pre-school teacher for 10 children aged 2 to 3 years. While I am enjoying retirement, I've found that I miss the exuberant environment of working with children, and look forward to the opportunity to work in child-care again.
