I am 19 years old turning 20 this fall. I graduated from the Loomis Chaffee School, a boarding school in Connecticut with high honors and a 3.9 GPA. I played sports all my life (soccer, lacrosse, basketball, and squash at Varsity level). I currently am a sophomore at the University of Miami in Coral Gables Florida enrolled in the Business School for finance and a double major in Psychology. I worked as a babysitter all throughout middle school and high school for some families with single children, some families with multiple children. The kids ranged from newborn-ten years old. Some of my responsibilities included making meals, homework help, taking them to different parks or libraries/fun places, playing games with them from basketball or sledding to playing with dolls or reading books, bath time, bedtime, changing diapers, giving medication, story time, etc. I also worked the past two summers as a Read more camp counselor at the Wheeler Summer Camp as a head ropes course counselor and a head camp counselor. I was in charge of leading team building activities, playing fun games with the kids, running lunch time, pool time, play time, and running a bunch of fun activities like tennis, basketball, frisbee, making s'mores, water polo, etc. I would love love love to be able to work with kids again this summer. I am very reliable when it comes to being on time, carrying out all expectations, and very easy going and optimistic. I am very patient and would love the chance to either babysit or nanny kids either part time or full time this summer.
