I am a theatre teaching artist and work before and after school for the Center for Dynamic Learning. My teaching season is winding down, and I'm looking for work between now and the start of camp season (end of June). I have cared for and taught children of all ages from 6 weeks old to teenagers. I particularly love caring for children under one year old. I have been in childcare since I was 10 years old, any my mother let me babysit my younger brother. I spent all of high school sitting and teaching at a middle school theatre program. During college, I worked at a preschool for two years, and was a nanny for one of my professors. Since graduating, I have been working in theatre and out of school time programming for students from ages 5-18 years old. I will have my RI theatre teaching certification for Read more the next school year. I have a significant amount of experience working with children who have special needs, including Down syndrome, autism and Tourette syndrome, and am currently learning ASL and German. I love creating an enriching environment for kids and finding creative ways to engage them. Tutoring capabilities: All grade levels for theatre, English, dance, music, art. K-8 for math, science, social studies. I love to teach knitting, baking and arts and crafts!
