I just moved to Providence and have Master's Degrees in Early Childhood, Special Education, and Library Science. I spent four years as a children's librarian and one year working with children with special needs. I love to read, do artwork and crafts, go on hikes and explore nature, and spend time with children of all ages! I have a Bachelor's in Art and English and enjoy fostering the unique talents and creativity all children possess. I am comfortable teaching children in all subject areas as well as tutoring and assisting them with homework and projects. Since I have a great deal of experience as a children's librarian, I know a lot about children's literature, teaching reading, and reading books aloud to children. I am originally from Minnesota and most recently spent two years in Birmingham, Alabama with my husband and two cats where he was a Post-Doctoral Researcher while I Read more pursued a Master's Degree.
