My name is Christina DeRosa and I am entering my junior year as a Journalism and Sociology major at the University of Rhode Island. Aside from my academics, some of my hobbies include: photography, music, art, dance, yoga, sports and traveling. Growing up with a little brother, I feel as though my maternal instincts developed at a young age. Throughout high school, I mostly took care of children in my family. Typically, I'd watch my younger brother (4 yrs younger) and my two younger cousins (10 and 12 years younger). When watching them, we'd play games, go to the park, go to the movies, do crafts, play outside and do other fun activities. I'm hoping to find a job as a caregiver because it's something I purely enjoy and something that comes quite naturally to me.
