I've always been great working with kids, they seem to respond to me well and look up to me as a role model. While my main goal is safety for the children, I try to make my time with them as fun and rewarding as possible. I've worked with ages 5 to 14 and am comfortable with watching multiple kids at a time. After working at the South County YMCA for four years I'm used to leading groups of up to 20 kids. Through the YMCA I've been through multiple child care trainings. I volunteered for 2 years at an elementary school helping students with their homework, and eventually became a mentor. Currently a student at URI and am looking for part time work 2-3 days a week.
